Seeing him finally destroy her arrogance,her pride, her career, hell even her freaking life and everything else out of existence aha. The moment she knew she fucked up lol😂 while everyone sees her downfall, her hopes & dreams crushed, and witness his total domination and his superiority over her in every way 🤷🏽‍♂️. She'll learn she's not his equal by far, not even close, just a foolish girl with a shitty attitude and bad manners smh. So I don't think she deserves mercy but I'll guess he'll do just that, guess that's what a gentleman is then huh 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Awesome fight! But now everyone knew Yan Xiao is Xiao Yan. This fight will be more ferocious and the Misty Cloud despicable attitude will appear in the next episode.

Holy sh*t owo every second of this episode was amazingly beautiful, every character had life to them (except all the spectating students just barley in comparison to the rest)

Even though the fight was spectacular I was a bit disappointed that it didnt follow what I read previously in the manuha. However, I'm eager to see how things play out with what is about to happen and if he meets up with Xun Er before the 13 episodes are over.

I'm not sure tbh as I never read the novel but you are most likely right about that. I get tired pretty fast when I read novels so I tend to avoid them. This scene was just amusing in the manhua because when the fight was over yanran's grandfather entered the arena and backhand slapped her to stop her from taking her own life. He then thanked xiao yan for being lenient before apologising on behalf of both his family and his granddaughter for what she did 3 years ago but she never did apologise herself. After that she accepted being a slave but he rejected her with similar words about everyone being free to chose their own path like was shown in the first 2 episodes.

Remake of Season 1 fixes some mistakes that were made. I don't expect them to follow the source material to the letter, but to make slight changes like Dragon Ball decided to do to explore more canon options. They should really consider hiring a Japanese Culturalist! Good to see they got rid of the fag in the remake!

I feel sad for you if you only read manhua,there is so many details skipped in both manhua and this series,stuff that are relevant to the story going forward.If you have time you should really read novel,and from start.
